Web site Is Really Just Me -- A Writer Like You
but an Editor Too

Welcome to E-grammar-editing’s copyediting and proofreading Web site. I’m a writer and an editor who has worked for national magazines and textbook publishers, as well as individuals trying to sell their first novel, and--like you perhaps--I’ve been creating my first Web site right here and am putting final revisions on my latest novel.

My experience includes

• a Master’s Degree in English from Dominican University, River Forest, IL, graduating magna cum laude;

• member of the National English Honors Society, Lambda Iota Tau;

• copyediting, proofreading, and compiling textbooks, from elementary math to high school language arts, for publishers such as Houghton Mifflin, McDougal Littel, and Scott Foresman;

• copyediting and proofreading agent proposals, Web sites, and novels, including Broken Links (Oxford University Press) and Across Three Continents (Palm Tree Publishing), as well as other fictional works still in progress;

• managing editor for Scott Periodicals, editing and proofreading three national trade magazines in the plumbing and HVAC fields;

• proofreading for various associations’ online newsletters and Web sites; and

• writing and publishing my own short stories and poetry, with honorable mentions in a Year’s Best Fantasy anthology.

And when I have time, I try to get back to that novel that I will, one day, finish, and I continue to update this Web site to help (and to meet) other writers along the way.
