Welcome to E-grammar-editing’s copyediting and proofreading Web site. I’m a writer and an editor who has worked for book publishers, textbook publishers, and national magazines, as well as individuals trying to sell their first novel, and--like you perhaps--I’ve been creating my first Web site right here and am putting final revisions on my latest novel. My experience includes • a Master’s Degree in English from Dominican University, River Forest, IL, graduating magna cum laude;• member of the National English Honors Society, Lambda Iota Tau; • copyediting, proofreading, and compiling textbooks, from elementary math to high school language arts, for publishers such as Houghton Mifflin, McDougal Littel, and Scott Foresman; • copyediting and proofreading fiction and nonfiction titles for Sourcebooks, Inc.; • copyediting and proofreading agent proposals, Web sites, and technical reports, as well as individual fictional works in progress; • managing editor for Scott Periodicals, editing and proofreading three national trade magazines in the plumbing and HVAC fields. My publications include • Beside the Darker Shore, a vampire novel due out with Eternal Press in 2011;• short stories in the anthologies Apparitions and Lights of Love, among other past and upcoming anthologies; • fiction and poetry in the literary and speculative publications Rose and Thorn, Clean Sheets, Hungur, Byline, Midnight Street, Sounds of the Night, and Karamu, among others; • first place poems in the Rhino Reader/Writer poetry contest and honorable mentions in Ellen Datlow's The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror. I am always eager to meet new writers and foster the creative side in all of us. Please feel free to
